This Sunday is a special day on our Christian calendar as it is Transfiguration Sunday. Our worship that day will focus on the glorious moment when Jesus is revealed in radiant flight on the mountaintop. Together we will hear God’s voice- “This is my Son, the Beloved, listen to him”- and prepare our hearts for the journey into Lent. The title of the message is “Just Listen to Him” and the scripture focus will be on Luke 9:28-36. I invite you to come worship, listen, and be transformed!

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent—a time to reflect, reset, to commit ourselves anew in our relationship with God. It is a 40-day spiritual journey, excluding Sundays, that culminates with the glorious celebration of Easter.
