Fellowship Dinners throughout the Year
Spring 2026
In first weekend in May 2026, The HSUMC Women of the Church (UMW) held their Spring Almost-World-Famous Yard Sale. “Held” meant weeks of sorting, cleaning, and pricing the many generous item donations they received. It meant two long days of selling and bagging items. Then more days to clean up and deliver unsold items to local Church thrift stores. Thanks to everyone's hard work and generosity, the sale raised $1,816.
In mid-May, the UMW voted to send summer donations to their key mission partners of Cherokee County Homeless Vets ($750), Never Alone ($750), Goshen Valley ($750), and to pay off the Holly Springs Elementary School Lunch Debt ($750).
Summer 2026
The UMW purchased two summer-colored “Praise the Lord” banners for the Church Sanctury. They also partnered with The Gideons International, contributing $25 per Bible to dedicate and send five Bibles to church families who lost loved ones over the past year.
