Perhaps you have heard of Hearst Castle in California; William Randolph Hearst stuffed it with ancient statues, medieval tapestries, and some of the greatest art of all time. The mansionhas 72,000 square feet, and thousands of people go through it each year. Every person that goes through the house pretty much has the same response, “Wow, he sure did have a lot of stuff.”
Maybe you might wonder what Jesus would have told him if Mr. Hearst had pulled up a chair to the feet of Jesus and asked Him to teach him about how to live life. Well, wonder no longer. This Sunday we will pull up a pew and sit at the feet of Jesus and listen to what Jesus would have said to William Randolph Hearst, as well as to all of humanity. Our scripture focus will be on Luke 12:1-2; 13-31. The title of the message for this Sunday is, “With God at the Center”.
