This is the first of summer sermon series. The theme, “At the Feet of Our Savior’, comes to us from Luke 10:38-42. Mary is sitting at the feet of Jesus listening to his teaching while Martha is busy doing many good things in the kitchen.
We busy our lives up with many things, so much to the point that we allow our focus to be centered on the “many things,” and not on our Savior. This series will afford us the opportunity to slow down and listen to what Jesus is wanting to teach us about life and how it is to be lived. Each Sunday we will focus on one of His teachings and my prayer is that, by doing so, we will grow in faith, discipleship, and be equipped to serve others with love and compassion.
