In this Sermon we continue to follow Jesus after the resurrection as He continues to appear to his followers. We join two of Jesus’ disciples who are broken in spirit because of the death of Jesus, walking away from Jerusalem toward the town of Emmaus. We read their story in Luke 24:19-33.

This theme serves as a powerful reminder that no matter how dark a situation may be in life, situations that, in some cases, we may feel that all hope is gone, God is closer than we think.

Let this sermon bring you to be encouraged, renewed, and strengthened in the understanding that even though we may not recognize it, He is walking with us.
